Congratulations to #TeamDRF’s Adam, Benji, Charles and Yossi who completed the London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021, raising more than £28,000 for the Duchenne Research Fund.

The annual event is the largest marathon in the UK, attracting around 40,000 participants. The iconic 26.2 mile route takes in the Tower of London, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace.

While the race previously took place in April, in 2021 it was postponed to October to ensure it could still go ahead against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 2020 race was limited to elite runners only. The mass participation race was converted to a virtual race with runners competing remotely.
